i went to a rave on an airplane last night
Hi! It's Wednesday (...I think?)
Here’s what I’ve been up to this week:

Marta Minujin
what I’m clicking:
90s teens in their bedrooms | The Kings of Suicide Hill | I knew I didn’t like air conditioners for a reason | A grand unified theory of avocado toast

what I'm writing about:
That time I went to a rave on an airplane (and ended up on Questlove's instagram story)
what I’m reading:
Jardine Libaire
Listen, I love a good book about class conflict in 1980s New York City. I loved The Bonfire of the Vanities, and I even liked People Like Us. But I just did.not.get. this book. There were images and scenes that were really vivid, but nothing made sense, and nothing fit together. The entire basis for this novel is utterly preposterous and the ending is downright absurd. I really just wanted this book to be so much better than it was, but I was disappointed.
Did it make me cry: No.
Did it make me laugh: No.
Did it make me miss a subway stop: No.
Would I recommend it: No.
Would I read it again: No.
Would it be a good movie: There’s no way.
