what I’m clicking:
Last weekend I became obsessed with this Mormon Mommy Blogger drama. Hear me out, cause it’s almost as intriguing as an episode of Serial: This guy goes missing under really suspicious circumstances. Next, his family creates a totally misguided Go Fund Me page, starts posting really fame-mongery photos on instagram, and creates a Facebook page called Bring Paul Home… where people immediately begin posting opinions, fake sightings, conspiracy theories, and airing the family’s dirty laundry - affairs, drug addiction, and a possible bank robbery. The most interesting part might be an incredibly cryptic post on the wife’s blog from a month before this guy went missing. And if you really need a distraction from our possible nuclear demise, start with this incredibly thorough thread that dives into all the (really depressing) reasons why this guy might not want to be found.

Is this book a Young Adult novel? I don’t know. I don’t care.
Did it make me cry: No.
Did it make me laugh: No.
Did it make me miss a subway stop: No, but speaking of subways: There is a pretty fun subway scene in it where he discovers a secret tunnel under the Old City Hall station and now I really want to go on a tour there.
Would I recommend it: No. Maybe to a child? Who knows.
Would I read it again: Never.
Would it be a good movie: I guess? Would it be animated? The second main character is a dog, which I think would make it fun to watch.

I’m still reading Georgia (about Georgia O’Keeffe!), and I’ve also started Breaking and Entering and I’m almost done with Into the Water. Three books at once!
