this one is ONLY about coronavirus

this week’s style inspo:
The babies wearing tiny face masks at hospitals in Thailand.
what I’m clicking:
That discomfort you’re feeling is grief | How coronavirus will change the world | The Great Empty | Incredible social distancing photos from around the world | Celebrities are insufferable right now | People are getting zoombombed | The town that survived ebola | In search of Wuhan’s defining dish | A futurist predicts what travel will look like when this is all over | Masks are symbols | That time my hometown became a rural epicenter of the outbreak | Our pandemic summer | We are all obsessed with puzzles
what I’m wanderlusting:
Times Square. Seriously, I cannot wait to get hassled by a drunk elmo and hear people from all over the world having fun.
what I’m listening to:
My friends and I made a collaborative playlist on Spotify that is keeping me sane and happy. I’ve also found that blasting an entire opera from start to finish (inspired by @rachaelannroth’s deep listening series on Instagram) is my ideal work-from-home soundtrack. I dare you to not get shit done with Bizet’s Carmen.
what I’m coveting:
A garden full of biodynamic seeds from Turtle Tree Seed.
what I’m thankful for:
People like my friend Annie, who works in a hospital in Brooklyn and on her day off dropped off a care package with FRESHLY BAKED BREAD AND COOKIES because she heard I wasn’t feeling well.
